Creche Overview
Sharavogue is committed to providing loving, warm and consistent care and education for your child. We provide a stimulating environment in which the children’s development is encouraged and we have a flexible and sensitive approach to their needs.
We recognise early childhood as a unique stage to be valued in its own right and its importance as the basis for all future development. We feel it is important that working parents get to spend as much quality time with their children as possible and therefore we provide a fully inclusive service to the working parent where we look after all your child’s requirements. This includes:

- All bottles throughout the day are freshly prepared using formula provided by Sharavogue.
- All nappies and creams provided throughout the day in the Creche.
- Freshly prepared food cooked daily by our in-house chefs and tailored to your child’s growing needs from weaning through to Junior School

Five Diverse Environments
Ratios
As recommended by Tusla, all childcare facilities are required to have a standard ratio of staff to children. In all rooms in Sharavogue Crèche, we ensure these ratios are met and in many cases exceeded ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
Safety & Security
We have a fingerprint security system on all exit and entry doors into Sharavogue. Only parents and nominated collectors can access the building.
Sharavogue Crèche has five seperate rooms designed specifically to meet the children’s needs at each developmental stage.
Babyroom, Wobblers, Rompers , Toddlers & Pre-School

Large outdoor areas with Play Equipment
We are fortunate to have plenty of outdoor space in a leafy environment providing a perfect outdoor setting for the children.
We have a number of dedicated age- appropriate areas with outdoor toys and equipment, including a covered area for the babies.
We encourage daily outdoor play for all children from the Babyroom onwards, weather permitting. This encourages positive growth and development of your child through opportunities to explore and play.

Aistear and Siolta
In Sharavogue we use the Aistear Curriculum & Siolta Frameworks as a guide in planning learning experiences for the children. Aistear is the Irish word for journey. This allows us to document each childs unique journey throughout their time in Sharavogue.
