Our Junior School follows the national curriculum, delivered in small classes. Learning is adapted to each child’s pace, supported by strong relationships and a calm, encouraging environment.
Wraparound Afterschool programme available to Sharavogue Junior School students combines care, enrichment and fun, all under one roof. After School programme is also available for children from local primary schools.
At Sharavogue, sustainability isn’t just something we teach, it’s something we live every day.
We are proud to be part of the Green-Schools Programme, an international environmental education initiative that empowers students to take action in protecting the planet. Since we began our Green-Schools journey in September 2011, our students have been at the heart of every campaign, taking ownership and leading positive environmental change both within the school and in the wider community.
The programme begins in the classroom and quickly becomes a whole school effort, encouraging responsibility, teamwork, and a real commitment to caring for the world around us. Its impact can be seen not just in how we run our school, but in the positive habits and attitudes children take home and carry with them.
We are proud to have earned four Green School Flags so far, each reflecting two years of teamwork, creativity, and commitment.
We are now actively working towards our fifth flag, focused on Biodiversity, exploring how we can support natural habitats, encourage pollinators, and understand the importance of ecosystems. Our student-led Green Schools Committee plays a central role in every stage of the journey: from planning campaigns and conducting audits to organising events and spreading awareness throughout the school.
