Sharavogue is commited to providing loving, warm and consistent care and education for your child. We provide a stimulating environment in which the children's development is encouraged and we have a flexible and sensitive approach to their needs. (Moved to Welcome section)

In Sharavogue we recognise early childhood as a unique stage to be valued in its own right and its importance as the basis for all future development.

In Sharavogue Creche, we feel it is important that working parents get to spend as much quality time with their children as possible and therefore we provide a fully inclusive service to the working parent where we look after all your child's requirements. This includes:

• All bottles required throughout the day freshly prepared using formula provides by Sharavogue.

• A night pack of prepared bottles for you to take home in the evening up to the toddler stage.

• All nappies and creams provided throughout the day in the Creche.

• Freshly prepared food cooked daily by our in-house chefs and tailored to your childs growing needs from weaning through to junior school.

• Daily laundry service for your baby up until they are potty trained, eliminating the need for you to launder clothes during the working week.

Five Diverse Environments

Sharavogue crèche has 5 departments each appropriate to meet the children's needs at that stage in development. The departments are:

- the Baby Room
- the Crawler Room
- the Romper Room
- the Toddler Room
- and the Pre-school Room

Ratios

As recommended by the HSE all childcare facilities have a standard ratio of staff to children. In all rooms in Sharavogue Creche, we exceed these ratios and provide more than the standard staff required ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.

Doctor on Call

We appreciate that most parents are working and aim to establish a balance of providing additional care to your child whilst ensuring children are not posing a risk of infection to others. Our head nurses in the baby room take all temperatures and administer all medication under strict procedures and guidelines. We have a local doctor on call to Sharavogue should parents have difficulty within a short timeframe.

Large outdoor areas with play equipment

We encourage children from rompers age onwards to have daily outdoor time in the garden and playground (weather permitting) encouraging positive growth and development of your child through opportunities to explore and play. We also have a number of double buggies which enables our staff to bring the children in the babyroom and crawlers out for daily walks for fresh air and a change of scene.
